fairmont shaker

Hi Boxy and All, i found this 70 fairmont GT on the internet. The question is. It has not got a shaker, is this a mod or standard from factory. The fairmont i found has got shaker in middle. Maybe it had no shaker as the one below and the old owner added it later. hope you guys can clarify this for me.

Hi Darral,

That's an XW GT Fairmont. Only the XY's had the full shaker system.

Hi Darral,

As Nick said in the Ford Fairmont GT series the XY was the only GT to have a shaker. That bonnet you see on the yellow XWGT is correct. See it has a cut out for the air scoop that cools the break booster.

That yellow xw is Dougies and the tawney xy next to it is mine :D

By the way the xw is very nice... has an xr6 5 speed and some other little nice touches
