120k, possibly neg but lets assume it isnt. I am SORELY tempted!!!!!

If this is a US import, it will likely have the 2.2l 18R lump.

Any advice and opinions would be greatly appreciated!

Thank,
Riaan

I think that's a bit steep. And with it being LHD, I for one wouldn't go that way. well that's just my opinion.

What's the story with LHD? It will probably be a bit odd to drive at first but I am sure familiarity will sort it ?

I notice the engine bay is white, which probably means the car was resprayed or even restored. Are there any telltales one should watch out for?
On the one hand, its the price of a tata. But on the other hand, I want to offer what the car is worth, objectively, and not so the owner can recoup his resto outlay. That is his baby as far as I'm concerned.

I wouldnt buy LHD unless its a super special rare car, having driven a LHD car I tell you its a pain to drive in SA.

I think you'll be amazed by the number of members on this forum that owns LHD cars. To us its a way of living and to stand out from the rest of the crowd. But a lot of "normal" guys wont touch a LHD

Now THIS is interesting! To me its all the same, but I have never driven a lhd before so what do I know?!

The idea is to have a lekker ride for my daily commute, but the last thing I want is something that will frustrate me. o_O

That Celica was probably a USA or Canada import judging by the 5 MPH crash bumpers, side marker lights F/R, etc.
