That car is genuine , it was brought over here to rebuild the other one . I know because I know the cars details , who brought it in and where it is. The pics where taken in the states so it will look dodgy but trust me it's not. Not my cup of tea but to someone who has plenty bucks to spend and loves mopars then great. The other one is a rally pack. The car was bought from that add in the states and my friend from the states shipped it here.

How much is a complete challenger worth in South Africa realistically ? 70 and 71 I think we're the years to have ... 73 models are not worth nearly as much as the 440's from the previous years ...

Same basic body from 1970-74 and swapping in a 383-440 is quite easy into the 1972 up models since the V8 K member is the same on all with the (possible) exception of the 426 Hemi models.

Which makes it worth even less ...I'm saying they asking 220 for the 2 bodies completely stripped and another 200 to get it complete and driving perfectly ... Expensive project

That project will cost 500 to 600 k to complete, Mopar + Rand / dollar + shipping = Lots of Mandelas!!

I think what RaceFace was saying, is US advert same photos as SA advert......

Agree I reckon around R500k or so and when you are finished you have a car that's quite hard to sell in SA at that price.

Brad Bought this one from DBN, tidied it up and I think it sold around the 500 k Mark..... So yip a 73 ain't a bar car..... a 69 /70 with all the right groceries plus a Hemi might get there.... provided you find a buyer with a shoe box under the mattress....
