I say BS!
Look at the rear passenger windows. Much to big for a 52/53 split window.
That's a fiberglass split window insert.
I have one on display in my man cave.

Split window is stitched into a 60's beetle.

This was for sale last week in East Rand for R2500, now R10000 on West rand.
