The advertiser says it was a sedan converted to a bakkie, and loadbin from another model.
But Studebaker did in fact produce such a pickup, the 1937 Studebaker Coupe Express.
This could be a very cool build.

Wondering whether this was an official model, or a home-built?
Studebaker had Coupe Express models up until 1939, and the M-Series pickups from 1941, but this is neither.
