I have seen this car numerous times and it is in very good condition, an older restoration but a very nicely built car. Whether the price is attainable I don't really know...jlebenon wrote:They tell me this car is in very good condition but been for sale for quite some time

Chargers / Chalkengers were always six figure cars. Sign on the economic times!

Re: Mopar E-body (Challenger/Cuda)
Wow, that was my first real Mopar.
I bought and restored that car in the mid 90's, sold it a few years later and then tried to buy it back early 2000's, with no luck.
It is a genuine 340 Rally with 2 build sheets, very original car form the Transvaal way back.
That Challenger got me hooked on Mopars in the days

I'll be happy to provide some info if he buys the car.
I have a stack of pics I took during the resto, also an article that was in MoparAction about the car when I owned it in the 90's.
I include a pic stripped and afterwards. it was a stripe delete car

Re: Mopar E-body (Challenger/Cuda)
A friend of mine bought a Gallardo for R800 000 the other day. The car needed a new clutch, which he replaced for something like R35k.
So, I started wondering...
What would the train of thought be for someone deciding on which car to buy, the Gallardo or the above Mopar collectible ?
Pieter.

Pieter, I had to google Gallardo, had no idea what it was.
Such different cars, me, I'll stick to a classic Mopar, never been one for fancy cars
This Challenger can run for ever and will never cost much to maintain
