Sjoe!

I haven't been on the forum for ages and what a shocker...

I really pray for strength and healing for Basie's family...

I am truly saddened. :(

In Loving Memory of Forum member Gordini (Basie Roode)....one year ago today. The following is a message from his daughter:

Vandag 1 jaar gelede het die Roode gesin gebreek. Ons groot pa het sy laaste asem uitgeblaas. 1 jaar. Tyd het so vinnig verby gegaan... 1 jaar. So baie dinge wat pa nog moes beleef saam ons. 17 November sal altyd 'n eina dag wees. Lief pa bitter baie en mis pa nog meer elke dag...

Even though I never met him personally, he had a fantastic sense of humour and was a thoroughly uncompromising individual, a quality that I respect a lot.

It's been a full year that our 'Whiner in the Recliner' passed? :(

RIP Mr Basie and; may you have lots of brand new vintage Renaults, etc. to play with. :)
