Brakes upgrade - 69 Camaro

Post by 69Camaro » Wed 01 Jun 2016, 07:45

I am planning brake upgrades on my 69 and my car is currently in Cape town. Car is quite fast so I need to get something that will REALLY stop it when I have to! The guys suggested 15' rotors & 6 piston calipers in front.

I reached out to http://www.wilwood.com (in the States) and requested pricing packages on a brake kit that I can buy, ship and install. I'm not really on top of what's on the market and any recommendations would be appreciated.

Thanks in advance, Nico

I you want good brakes and don't mind paying for them, then Wilwood is the way to go in my opinion.
Alfa GTV 3.0
Ford Capri Perana V8
Chevy Lumina Supercharged

Wait not for tomorrow to do what can be done today, live each day for one knows not what the next day may hold.

Wilwood is bloody expensive. There are many options for GM. I have Corvette Vented & slotted on my 69 and stops just fine
