Examples of the above I have seen before at car shows.

A car I would like to see is a Vauxhall Viva GT. Never seen one - normal Viva's yes but no GT's
1961 Alfa Giulietta Sprint
1971 Fiat 124 BC Coupe
1975 Fiat 132 GLS

No not really but it was the performance model. Dont see them. One would have thought the performance models would survive and the bread and butter models would fall away.

The problem with the Viva GT is it had a cambelt and back in the early 1970's that wasn't a common thing, many motors were lost when the cambelts broke.

Agree with you though they are few and far between, I think I have only ever seen one.
Alfa GTV 3.0
Ford Capri Perana V8
Chevy Lumina Supercharged
