Just did a bit of research online, looking at the nose it is a Record B but can's find history on them have made in Bakkie's original by GM.
There is history on the PI and PII bakkie

The Opel Rekord bakkie (Olympia) was very popular! My Aunt Jessy had one in Adelaide! She was very strong! I recall her off-loading a Sack of Maize from the bakkie and placing it onto Farmhouse Stoep!! The "B" bakkie is very special as only a few were built! (I suspect only about 50!)
The "P" and "A" bodies were more! That is one very special "Opel" 8O 8O

Imagine trying to find one of those tail lights if a taxi gets a bit "pushy" on the road! 8O

As Johan says, EXTREMELY rare. It is a 1966, not 1964.

Never ever seen a picture of one of those before, would be quite cool to take a picture with it next to a Corsa utility.
Alfa GTV 3.0
Ford Capri Perana V8
Chevy Lumina Supercharged

Wait not for tomorrow to do what can be done today, live each day for one knows not what the next day may hold.

Started abt Oct 1965 and discontinued (Last Sold?) August 1966 Could even be less than 50 units!!! 8O I saw very few on the line! 8O
The Vauxhalls were in the Majority! The Viva and Cresta  Holden started about that time  Chevy's on their final years 8O

P.S.! I towed a Diesel Toyota to get it started with my Rekord! No problem!! :D

A mate of mine had one when we where at Tech. in Bulawayo in 1974.
It was used on weekends when we went Pub crawling as it was slow and if we hit something nothing would happen to us. 8) 8)
It was built like a tank.
