Hi there

Anyone know of a good reliable towing company i can use to get a car from Johannesburg to Cape town. Current quote i have is R6k for the drop off and R500 to bring along some of the extras (4 doors, bonnets etc).

If there is member on here i can support even better.

I ended up going with http://www.openroadcarriers.co.za/

Came in at under R5k, and was the most on the ball with replies and follow up service. Most others were only going to let me know on the 9th if they can help. These guys were on the ball and even though it is being picked up on the 9th, they have done and sorted everything already.

Let you know on the 11th when the car arrives if they were as good on follow through.

In the end i had to cancel the purchase of my car on the day, So i never used open road, they also kept the FULL amount i paid them as punishment for canceling. R5k gone....
At least i never ended up with a 50k lemon
