Need some help choosing wheels for the Charger
I cant seem to decide on what wheels to fit on my 71 Charger.
I've narrowed them down to 4 and will appreciate any help.
Front 15x8" (235-60-15 or 245-60-15?)
Rears 15x10" (295-50-15)
Magnum 500 (steel wheel) American Racing Torq Thrust 2 (aluminium) American Racing Classic T/T (aluminium) American Racing 200S (aluminium)

Colour will make a difference, I like the classic look, but torque Thrust 2's are hot! Only problem is that they are very popular and not that 'individual' any more.

Re: Need some help choosing wheels for the Charger
I've got a set of Magnum 500's for my Plymouth 'Cuda and so does every second Mustang out there....although Torque Thrusts are cool, too many guys have them. I'd go for a set of Mopar Rallyes.....just to be different
Re: Need some help choosing wheels for the Charger
Torque thrusts are the shit.To many people have magnum 500 wheels like sixpack.

It seems the Torque Thrusts are in the lead. I like the Magnums, but the aluminium ones are much more expensive than the heavier steel ones.
Now need to decide rear tyre size. 295-50-15 (on 10J rim) or 275-60-15 (on 8.5J rim)

Torque Thrust are good but too popular, but I think go for option 5, Chip Foose Junkyard Dogs! (with the exchange rate the should be a lot cheaper now)
Re: Need some help choosing wheels for the Charger
Junkyard Dogs are Boyd Coddington wheels.
Smallest size available is 17" (they start from $700 per rim )
I really want to go 15"
however...
the Foose Nitrous is available in 15x10 and 15x8. or maybe some old school ET 5 slot wheels...

What colour is car? Junk Yard dogs are awesome. But delivery takes for ever. Look the spindles on the other rims....

All the guys i know have stunning ,bombshell wives , i think i should marry an ugly f... just to be different ! Experience has taught me not to discriminate just because someone else has it . I suggest you choose the rim you like and give it a small flair of your own because every muscle car is original and unique no matter how they look alike they always look different. Thats why we love them.
