Thanks! The original dash can be re-fitted if need be! I have by-passed the PC Board of the Kadett to keep the wiring the same!!!
Short Finals!!! :D

Drove with GPS on and found that up to 70 KpH there was a discrepancy of about +2-3 KpH! This means that the Kadett speedo was set up for a 3.7 diff!! Very Happy!! Did not go faster due to 60 speed limit! ;)

The dash has been converted and even my wife approves!! Next task is to fit the Opel Manta Booster and Master Cylinder! Fitment is a bolt-on operation! Most work is cleaning and re-spray!

Now four years later!! What shiny eyes I had! Still working on the project!!

This is a real Barn Find in Mpumalanga!! 8O 8O This is the 1966 Opel Rekord L that carried the first 36DCD Weber and inlet manifold, Also carried disk brakes and booster :D
All that this car requires is a good valet and the repair of the driver's seat. :D
No Rust or respray required, This car is pristine and every thing works! All that is required is a battery and tyres :D :D
Look and enjoy the as found look. Going for a wash tomorrow :D :D

Experimental Opel GT 1965!! Note the rear lights!
The Experimental GT was revealed by Opel in 1965. It was not a production vehicle
but was used by the factory in research. A brochure was made available to the public to
put Opel on the map of manufacturers with the future in mind.

It was not until 1968 Opel launched the Opel GT, a car which became very popular
and still today is the basis of a large industry and market for restoration/tuning/competition,
especially in Germany and the United States.
