Going Kommando

Post by mantaray » Sun 15 Mar 2015, 07:50

so finally getting somewhere, removed the trusty 305, packaged and sent to Cape Town for a unique project, more info later, but first some pics on my progress. My sons assisted me and getting in on the value of doing something yourself, have also purchased all the goodies for a full front suspension resto, just need the shocks and springs, something a bit more firm.

Hullo Ray,
Can understand why you made the change! :D The new motor and box and the 3.23 diff is going to push you into the 12's. Need special back brace to keep you from breaking the seats!! 8O Enjoy!

not quite 12's Johann, maybe with a 150shot of nitrous yes, for now cruising the street and surprising some hot hatch owners should be enough ;)

Good morning Mantaray
Looks very neat and you ARE going to enjoy. Just a question please .I see that you have blocked off the fan /fresh air system. What are you going to replace it with ? The inside gets very hot.
I am busy with my De Ville's system at the moment but many times thought of putting a modern air blowing system which will be more efficent .
