El camino

Hi all.

Here is the project at my house.

Its a old el camino that needs some tlc and an additional 2 pistons would not hurt.

From what i can see the rust isnt to much....... Couse it rusted away. Front fender liners are bent, fenders have rusted trough on both sides, doors need some new plate, load bin needs a lot of plate. Tale gate is scrap, bonnet is bent ( hinge seezed up) front end needs some hammer work, cradle needs plate.
Grear links are a thing of the past as are the front suspension bushes and when all this is done the wiring is a nest. Only thing that works is the indicators and the interior fan.

It seems like my work is cut out. (pun intended)

I got the front end off the el camino.

Here is where im at the moment. Got some of the cancer removed from the cradle and cut some of the patch plate.

Gona start cutting n welding now. Wish me luck.

Di is nogal n k@k story maar dit moet maar gedoen word.

Ek het darm di cradle klaar geweld. Baie roes uit gesny.

Ek weet dit lyk bietjie rof maar ek leer nog di mig. Het nie baie ondervinding ni so sukkel so bietjie.

Di neus cover darm als hier as ek droog maak :D

Hi all. Sorry for no post yet, lost my detail.

So much has been done, so much still to do.

Will post pics in a bit but most of the rust has been cut out n welded shut.

The new power plant is sitting in my garage.

Pop me a mail with what you need info@amcgarage.co.za and we can see what i have. I have them in JHB / PTA and ship to CTN regularly and also can courier anywhere in SA.
