I take it you will keep that Chevy Six stashed away as a spare for 1965?

The engine and manual box will be cleaned and mothballed. Must check the manual box if it is the same as the Monaro. Have a FullRay shifter to restore and fit! Interesting scenario! Anybody from down under know more about the manual box? Is the Kommando manual box, 3 or 4 speed? Havn't taken a good look yet. Moby302's brochure shows the Trimatic box as standard and the Manual as an option on the Kommando. The 74 Toro (Ute) has a 4 speed manual, might be lucky!Bearhawke wrote:I take it you will keep that Chevy Six stashed away as a spare for 1965?

Photos of how not to spray a car Provisional fitment of Chev Commodore buckets seats (Will be covered black) 250cid Engine will be mothballed and placed on a stand.
Note original grey of engine. The engine that will be fitted in two weeks time is a 305 Chevy with a TH350 box. just need to prepare the engine bay. Not too much work, Body is better than thought

Maybe the "How to not spray a Car" was meant to as a Sunday afternoon quick blow over I see the radiater also got a coat or two
Re: 1974 Chev Kommando HQ - Monaro Conversion
Pity, they wasted good paint! and the radiator must be replaced as it does not have an ATF cooler. Should be running by the end of November. Can't wait to fit the 305! The front strut is supposed to be black not yellow!72XYGT wrote:Maybe the "How to not spray a Car" was meant to as a Sunday afternoon quick blow over I see the radiater also got a coat or two
