Re: 70 Chevelle
Upholsterer busy with seats, door pads etc, once Aircon is in by end next week, she goes to upholsterer, for carpet, headliner & to fit seats etc. All the glass is here, just needs to be fitted. I still have to order new SS Centre console with horse shoe shifter, as she had column shift & front bench seat.
Also waiting for branches from the States.
Then we need to fit window winders, door handles & locks, wipers & badges.... Then were done.
But I am toying with black stripes and a vinyl roof..... Maybe later.
Then the licensing & registration starts..... But she is on E Natis. Hopefully burning some tyres by Dec......

Re: 70 Chevelle
Great build.
Just a word of warning.
I used Imix sound proofing on the roof of an Impala some time ago. To my horror, I discovered that when the car is left in the sun, the bitumen based backing heated up to a point of dripping on to the back of the imported headliner.
One brand new headliner ruined......

Re: 70 Chevelle
So she was delivered at home, 'for a week' waiting for a gap at Speedway, 5 weeks later she is still at home.... All I have to celebrate is the Headers & Radiator brackets have arrived...:
