67 impala

Post by Graeme » Fri 17 Oct 2008, 17:34

Heres a pic of my 67 impala sports sedan.I have a thing for impalas
and am busy with a 2 door 63.This 67 is a canadian import which is a little
bit different from the ones that were built in PE.It has a 283 and manual windows
where as the locals were 327 and had electric windows.I think there were more
67 caprices than impalas in this country at the time.

Hi Graeme, you got a rare car as you say. I had 2 with the 327 motors. I love your car. Cheers Rassie.

Nice car!.

I love '67's and have one too but it's a Biscayne 2 Dr. Sedan w/ factory 396 Big Bock..

Being Canadian built, GM Canada should have your Vin on file and be able to supply the original shipping documents showing options etc for your car..
Here's the link if you're interested..

Very pretty car, in superb condition...panel line up fantastically well, have seen many of these older saloons that are showing their history with less than exemplary panel fit.

Beautiful car! 8)

The front fenders corner trim reminds a lot of the Buicks of that period.

Man that is in really nice shape!.
Cool you got the GM Canada documents already!.
Nice to see the front fender edge chrome trim is good as there's no repos made and even here where they were common are one of those parts now known as made of unobtainium..
Surprising being an Impala Hardtop it didn't come w/ the front fender corner lamps?.
The coolest but hardest and most expensive '67 part to find now are the SS427 bonnets...easily worth the equiv. of about R40,000-50,000 over here!.
Here's a pic showing a SS427 w/ the corner lamps and special bonnet..
