Re: 57 Chevy Task force Truck
So now the home stretch, final assembly and we drive.... noooo it’s never that easy!
The guy who originally wired the car is now MIA. Got a new Auto sparky to connect and complete. He has many issues with the previous guys work. He suggests we rather re-wire the car as he can’t put his name on someone else’s half job. What happens if something goes wrong
And now...... we are re-wiring the truck!
And this is far from my first rodeo.....

Re: 57 Chevy Task force Truck
I feel your pain. What was a year build for me is now closer to two on my truck. I get anal re quality and doing things right so as the paint was removed and the filler and crap revealed itself the time started ticking away to fix it properly. Also boxed in the frame and did a lot of work to keep the truck original inside but with luxuries like aircon and good sound but not seeing anything. I hate seeing these aftermarket aircon vents or sound systems.Burnthosetyres wrote: ↑Thu 07 Feb 2019, 06:58We were on track for 14 Dec deadline. Had exhaust fitted and buttoning up snags. Flying up next week to drive the truck for the first time in almost two years and am super stoked - there seems to be light at the other end of the tunnel and for once it doesn’t look like a train.
Just keeping hanging in there.
