Well done BTT. Looking at your other cars and the level of work that you put in I can't wait to see where this goes. Post lots of pics.

Re: 57 Chevy Task force Truck
I need to complete my Chevelle & Splitty first, but the plan is in my head, I want to do truck on Airbag suspension, I want to do a big window cab & a Fleetside bin. 383 Stroker motor and matt US army green paint.....

Re: 57 Chevy Task force Truck
I got BIG plans..... So this one might take a while! Engine wise, I want to be able to Burn those Tyres, so want to do a 383 Stroker, the aim is 500 Horses....
Body wise, ?I want to do a big window cab, not many of those around. And as for the bin, I want to do a Cameo or Fleetside....
Chassis, the truck was a 3800 so the steel is thick, gonna be strong. I want to put it on Airbags, also do not want to go the Jag route, front suspension want to go Tubular from the States, Mustang 2 or similar, rear looking at more modern, Chev 12 bolt, with later GM rear suspension.

This might be a swear word, but 95 Mustang.... Strong, has LSD, disc brakes and reasonably affordable.... Mike Egan has a few.....

Re: 57 Chevy Task force Truck
Brought her home & parked her. Vowed not to touch her till the bus & Chevelle is home & done. Well the Chevelle is going to be ready this Fri about 4 weeks in a row now.... like ground hog day... but still haven't driven it.
So Fri I get a call, the perfect motor for truck is wating at Mike Egans, a 350 Vortec with a 4L80eand there only one.... deposit paid, haven't even seen it.... and so it all begins all over again!
