Your car looks clean. Congrats. There is a plate behind the drivers side headlight that will tell you if its a genuine xr6.

Hi,

To my knowledge the Interceptor was not in a Sierra body shape. The interceptor was a MK 5 Cortina XR6 body and only 250 were made.

The original motor is not in the Car but it did come with the car and it's complete. the original motor had a nitrous kit fitted on but use to blow head gaskets so it was taken out & prep'd properly for nitrous.

i'm working 12hours shifts at the moment so when i get home it's to dark to take pics. this weekend i'll be home during the day so i'll take the pics then.

I'll be taken the XR6 to the Classic Car Show on the 12th Dec in Parow Cape Town.
is there any forum members that will be there as well? i hope to see a few forum members there.

nice buy!! - the interceptor intake and carbs is worth some good money!!...pity the show is the 12th, same day as the 9hr race at Killarney which i am fortunate enough to have a drive in. :D

Oh look, what a coincidence, here's another just like yours, put up for sale just yesterday...perhaps invest in this one too and you can take both to the show on the 12th, as you said earlier :D
