1980 Pontiac Trans Am Turbo

Wanted to only post it once I received it, but impatience got hold of me.
She is on her way to me.
Look at the paint pic below, that was her orginal colour.
The red paint was done extremely poor and the red is cracking all over.
I have to do a complete repaint.
What would be the best? to keep the original colour or to do it in red again? I like the red, but on the other hand, I would like to get it back to original.
She only has 56000k true km on the clock and has been standing for more than 10 years now.
Has the 301 Turbo V8 with Rochester carb. As I understand it is a Canadian spec which means it is marked on Km not miles, but will see when I get her because I forgot to check that out when I visited her.
Only getting her next week Wednesday and she has loads of registration problems.
