Round about the time cars were going for peanuts and It took me a couple hours to fill a super link truck full of cars.I think it was in 2007.At the time I think Jaque had just found his 2 door nova and there was a 61 impala ragtop waiting to be built. Wonder what happened to that car.

I want to re-upholster my boot inside, and want to know if any of the Durban members can recomend an upholsterer. Was thinking of going to Highway Auto trimmers?

Len, there's an elderly guy (Johnny) whose been doing classic car upholstery for decades. He's based in New Germany (just off shepstone road, if I remember correctly). He trades as Shay's upholstery. Directly opposite Grinaker-LTA offices. Problem is that his joint is very crammy!
Also, thinking of doing my bakkie at a place called 21 Handel Street (this is the business name). The manager is called faizel and his place is located in Cato Street in the CBD. He works in the upper end of the market and may be pricey.
