Wanted: Ford Cortina MkII fender and door

Post by KSF » Fri 07 Feb 2014, 16:35

I need the right front fender for one of these Mk2 Cortinas. Mine is damaged as below:

Anything that is in better shape than that will do, does not have to be perfect and I will be flaring the arch in any case.

I also need a grill , indicator lenses and taillight lenses.

The left rear door has damage, probably can be repaired, but if I can find a clean door, much time saved:

If you can help, let me know by reply, PM or cell, oh eight 2 eight 9 eight, 4 too won fore

Hi Loris. A long shot, but get in touch with Alan Poulter. I know he had a donor when he built the N201 Gunston Replica, but that was a good few years ago now.

Do you really want to flare it?

I might have to, to fit in the rubber I want. At this stage I am not planning a lookalike/replica type of build, but if I do, in the later life of N201 when it was under Windsor sponsorship and oom Koos racing (A201 then), it had flares to accommodate the rubber.

Phone Japie Steenberg...he can help you...there is a car standing in his yard ;) ;) I bought the bumpers for R50.00
Contact numbers:
082 93 13 277

082 440 8764 [wife to leave a message]

You must arrange a courier for pickup   Its in Strydenburg.

The car is a station wagon, but i think all the components are the same. Nice grill, doorpanels, guages there as well. diff and front suspension intact ;) ;) ;)

Wouldn't a Mk2 station wagon be quite rare in SA?

Gordini,

Thank you !! I made contact, he thinks the parts are still there, will speak more later.

Are you anywhere near there? Or have someone in the area? I am trying to find out if my regular courier goes there too. It is far far away at current fuel prices.....
