If you don't use Gumtree than what basis should one use? In my opinion Gumtree is a good place to establish general trends when it comes to pricing.

Hi All
Thanks for the contribution, Rassie I was born in 1963 ...I guess age has nothing to do with the expressions we use but rather the interpretations we have of them...so my use go the word DUDE is based on acknowledgement for cool, lekker, knowledgable, one of us/having same mindset....anyway that's my take....

I was just interested in value as we restore cars get attached to them and then someone else sees value and makes you an offer and it's at the right time, number seems right and you "SELL IT " so it's nice to have some handle on historical numbers
I have just sold my car after loads of cash and effort not forgetting good unique pieces of
Trim and mechanical components.
Sold for R190k...delivered

I did an insurance value on a restored 3.0lt V6 GT Capri about 2 years ago for R220k, the client wont even let it go for that price. was a nut and bolt restoration.
