1973 Ranchero 351 V8

Post by Clint » Wed 10 Sep 2014, 14:52

Hi Guys,

I was looking at buying this Ranchero till my wife put the breaks on the sale  IMO the vehicle is well priced at R30k, for the condition. The owner paid R40k for it in 2009 from Motor Stars in Cape Town. The vehicle is licenced & on the road, the paper work checks out. If anyone is interested please contact Henry on 0846402458 or ncochra@gmail.com Henry sent me pics & a video clip of the Ranchero starting while he walked around it to get an over all impression. If you want me to forward the attachements send me a PM. The Ranchero is located in Pretoria.

Cheers
Clint

I bought this car. Ended up being a 302 not a 351.

Worth the money? What sort of condition is the body and interior in?

Yip, just checked my e-mails & he also told me it was a 351. Engine displacement was not on the log book he sent.

Some rust on the bottom of the doors and a little bit on the floor pan. Interior in great condition and all original. I feel i did well considering nothing had been fiddled with and papers are up to date.

This two is a big + when purchasing any vehicle. You bought a very nice trokkie, for a low price... start enjoying the addiction

Ters.
When it comes to the wife its easier to beg for forgiveness than ask for permission!
