Saw this on Gumtree...

1984 Ford Sierra XR8

R150000 with a sagging headliner...

I've seen Sierra XR8's with black, grey, blue, or white lower sills and bumpers, which is correct or were all colours options?

The correct colour is Blue. Its difficult to get the correct shade though.

Currently struggling with the same issue.

Is it a really dark shade of blue? Could swear the Car Magazine test car had black bumpers.
It should be indicated with a color code on your Warranty Plate/VIN tag?
Could different XR8's have different codes?

If you read the Car Mag article it does say that its blue.

Colour on the vin tag only shows body colour. We tried to match the vinyl colour as close as we could. The original colour of the vinyl was under the beadings on the one we are currently busy restoring

Hi

The dash is wrong aswell,thats a sapphire dash.The plastic covers by the post is a different colour to rear.The strip is thicker than normal.
