Chrome wont get you home! Love that thanks Mantary.
Yip Torqueflite 727 with custom build linkage to have that kick down working. Also fitted a shift kit to the box to make it more responsive and shifts to 2nd with some tyre squeal.
Fitting it was no easy task, but an angle grinder sorts out any problem. New fire wall was constructed to get that 383 as far back as it will go.

Chevy LUV in RSA? I thought that Isuzu was only named that for the Canada/USA markets.

Bearhawk - When this truck was introduced to South Africa, around 1972, it was marketed as a Chevy LUV. In 1975, I think, the name changed to Isuzu KB20, up until 1979. We also had a KBD20 diesel.
