The ultimate Beetle ;)
I don't like to look of the Porsche personally however they are a fine piece of engineering and a great ride.

Time to make you garage bigger, cause surely you are not selling any of your other rides?

Barry, that sir is a serious conundrum. I've gotten 2 quotes already to build a new double garage. Because even when my 57 truck is done I'm a under cover parking short.

But I've paced it, I might fit a 4 car garage in the space available, but when the guys are talking R4000 a square I might only have sheets left to build a double....

I do still want to buy a Carmann Ghia too...

I'm chomping at the bitt to drive the 911, she is being collected Mon from the seller and going straight to Club Sport motors to fit the new engine. Then a bit of wiring, aircon re-gas, needs a new headlight and indicator a good valet and were in business...

I like your taste...I find the Carmann Ghia the "James Bond VW"

Looks like you are trying to get all the special VW's.
splitty, 911, 'thing' , Ghia...

This should be great on parts, because all the parts pretty much fits one an other

I saw a Ghia for sale 2 weeks ago, sold the night before, was fully restored. Then I sent a colleague to look at one in JHB last week, looked great on photos but too far gone rust wise.

A type 34 Ghia will fit in nice with the collection. Still Ghia but different. Problem is finding one.

Barry you are correct but the rust is bad, both sills, floor pan and body. The repair cost even at a 35k entry is just too much.

I managed to find a Porsche Momo Alcantta Leather steering wheel for the White 911

But finding Fuchs rims and a Whale tail seems a bit more of a challenge. So I've managed to buy a Targa, for a decent price, going to do rim swop, and boot lid swop. The Targa needs a blow over and I'm gonna flip her!
