I love Torque Thrusts, but they are common. And yes they make any car look 'prettier'

You need to start with the end vision in sight and there might be a few tweaks here and there.... Just don't get too caught up in the comments of others....
Len, thks man..

On wheels I see on FB one or 2 guys have mentioned your Porsche wheels, so I am assuming you have wheels on your mind? hehe I like those wheels you got on it by the way....

Yeah I am a long way away from wheels thats for sure, but it is something that makes a car ! I like torque thrusts had 17" on my 67 mustang coupe. I dont think I will put them on this car for 2 main reasons:

1. They did not come with them from factory.
2. I am not building a Bullet clone car and I suspect if I went torque thrusts on a green FB that I would continually get people telling me I got a nice Bullet Mustang clone vs what it really is i.e. a Mustang GT 390 in factory original colour..  .

They do look nice though !!

So as per my build sheet options the car came with styled steel wheels. They are probably not the most aggressive wheels but they have grown on me a bit. These are them :

Have a look at Hugh's website, he has the distribution rights for Rocket Racing Wheels: http://www.sickcustoms.co.za/pages/rocket-racing-wheels

Because your build is a restoration not a restomod I think you have to go with the original Magnum wheels or modern exact replicas - any other wheel would devalue in my view what you are trying to achieve - the car should look like it just drove out of the factory in 67. My 5 c worth.

I agree with Craig. Magnums are the way to go.

I forgot to do an update on monday, got a bit of spare time so here it is...

The Mustangs unibody design has the front frame rails extended from the front frame rails to under almost to where the front seats go. These rails are always bent and buckled on Mustangs as owners love to incorrectly jack their cars up on these rails which causes them to bend buckle with jack mark dings all over. I thought I might just as well replace, so I did not order these parts from USA, I decided to have them laser cut and bent. Took them into my local laser cutting company and they cut all the holes, bent them all up and they look like original you would honestly not tell the difference... We tack welded them in, measured, measured and double checked. Will finish off the front toe boards at the firewall next and then drop the floor pan in and see how it looks measure and then take floor out again and then plug weld the rails in.

This is how the rest of the car is progressing, we have stripped down under the dash every nook and cranny, the roof etc and painted int all in the Epoxy. I am glad to say that the entire car has now been stripped to bare metal and has fresh Epoxy on it. A big mile stone in my book :)

Wow. I am amazed at the attention to detail and workmanship. This is a build I am following with great interest as to the technical aspects of the paint types and methods of joining large body panels.

Great work
