polising aluminium intake manifold

Post by chevy38 » Tue 07 Jun 2016, 13:15

I want to polish up an Edelbrock intake manifold, that's gone rather dull from standing, what is the best thing to use

if you like your hands, and don't like blisters, rather send in to pretty polish.

If it' wasn't originally polished and was just the normal aluminum finish then I'd say rather just clean it , not easy to polish them shiny takes hours and hours

if it is just cast finished, you going to have to sand the whole thing down with a rough grit, then a finer grit, say 400. then a finer grit, say 1000. then polish it with autosol or similar. it won't take hours, it will literally take days
