A place to feel at home

Post by carelo.koekemoer » Tue 11 Oct 2016, 21:50

Hi all

I live in Durbanville, Cape Town and spend my days in front of s or in meetings, dreaming about all things with engines (except lawnmowers)

I grew up with some awesome cars from the 50s, 60s, 70s and 80s in my family - including a 49 Ford Custom (which I'd love to own someday), Biscaynes, C10s, Mazda RX2's, XR6 Cortinas and Jaguars.

Grew up in the back of a SSS with the factory modified zero cams and sidedraught Webers.

I own a split-screen Morris Minor (waiting for a transplant someday) - I think rotary - and a AMC Hornet 410 that used to belong to my grandfather. 80k original kms, but lots of tlc needed on the outside....

Hope to learn from others here, and share experiences

Carelo

Thanks Mustang Sally! I like the paintjob on yours...right now I think it'll suit mine too, to camouflage it a bit.

The [BLACK SUN WITH RAYS]️ 's fading power has not been hood to the old girl's red paintjob.

Pics will follow soon
