Supercharged Lumina

Looking for a supercharged Lumina sedan but would perhaps consider UTES.

Would prefer something that hasn't spent half its life being thrashed down a drag strip.

Lets see if there any out there.

Hi ZAP,
If you haven't been able to finalize a deal as yet...
I have a 2014 Lumina sedan (the 'red line' model - the last to come into ZA).
It has mileage of just under 40 000km.
It's not supercharged (yet ) and - certainly hasn't spent anytime on any drag strip.
It's in excellent condition - white in colour.

Found another one, fully built motor, 2.9 whipple supercharged, lunati cam, built auto box, upgraded brakes and suspension.

It hopefully arrived next week or the week after.

With the mods mentioned above, I am surprised it only makes 400kw atw. I made 372kw with a 1900 Magna charger and cam.

Also, you say build box. Who build it, and where was it sourced from. When I had my Lumina, no company in SA offered any upgrades. Cheapest option back then was to import an upgraded box, but at $7000, shipping excluded, that was way too expensive.

Box has upgraded Red Eagle clutch packs, new stronger torque converter, upgraded line pressures, gearbox cooler with a thermo fan. There is power on the table, its running a standard air box for example and its running quite low boost. The prior owner deliberately wanted something his wife could drive to the shops with the minimum of fuss.

OTR and revised tune will net me more power but to be honest I think 400 odd kw at the wheels is more than enough for me at the moment. Overtaking shouldn't be much of a problem. It has also had a trans tune by Izak.

Not really going to race it but just enjoy it as quick road car, the sound and the feel being more important to me that getting the maximum out of the engine.
