Car carrier recommendations

Post by Wazza » Fri 24 Nov 2017, 20:47

Hey everyone,

can anyone recommend a good car carrier company? Hopefully one that doesn't cost an arm and a leg.
I need to get a vehicle picked up in PTA and delivered to my home in Durban. I found a couple options via a quick google search but figured some people here my be able to give recommendations based on personal experience.

Cheers Warren

I used them and didn't have any issues at all. Barring some lapse in communication.

I've used www.openroadcarriers.co.za - dealt with a very nice guy by the name of Frank. He provided great communication throughout and was a pleasure to deal with. I even got emails late at night re progress so this shows their commitment to customer service.
Incidentally, they were the only ones I've contacted that included insurance - just a base of R250k included as part of their standard fee. All the others did not want to insure a classic car.
Needless to say I was impressed with their service and will use them again. :D

Intercity Towing very reliable. And reasonably priced.
