Yes, new version released recently, with a battle scene in a parking garage with a modern Dodge Charger, in which the modern Bullitt Mustang is driven by Steve McQueen's granddaughter, Molly.

A pity that there is probably no chance of these being made in RHD. I must say though Miss McQueen is very easy on the eyes.

I've been hoping for a modern remake of the movie for a long time now, seeing as nearly everything is remade these days (or in many instances, rehashed). Not sure the four-door Dodge Charger would do the trick though (Dodge Challenger may be better). However, the actor to fill Steve McQueen's shoes may be much more of a debate than which Dodge to use.

Some stuff must left alone. Redoing a classic movie like that will be hard to near impossible and most likely be like the Italian Job rehash
1961 Alfa Giulietta Sprint
1971 Fiat 124 BC Coupe
1975 Fiat 132 GLS
