Newbie to Forum

Hi everyone, I am Chilton. I forgot to introduce myself when I registered. I am from cape Town. I acquired 2 1969 Chev c10 bakkies. I had to sell the one Chev C10 V8 Holden 308 which was an unfinished project I picked up in Bloem to be able to start work on the one I'm keeping which is more original but with no engine, gearbox or prop-shaft.

I will get a Chev 250 (4.1 L) engine & gearbox soon to start getting off the ground. I must do alot of work to the cab floor panels.

I let a Chev Ranger SS slip by because I took to long. So I am gonna put my all into this C10 pickup truck.

I often browse the old threads here for technical advice & banter. Thanks and I love classic Cars, pickups & bikes.

Here is some pics. I'm actually thinking of keeping the rustic look & just having it coated. It was sand blasted before but I will need to add reinforced steel plate at the cab bottom & mould it around to the outside. I got a Weber double barrel carb yesterday.
