The only guy I can really think of who raced a Valiant was Pardini. I have a pic or two but copyright protects them.

Libero Pardini raced one in 1965 I think a have one or two pictures but again dreaded copyright gets in the way, there must be a way around this problem though....

He also attempted to set a land speed record on the Vernuek Pan in a special imported Polara...problem the car was too heavy and the salt sliced its tyres....and cleverly Chrysler SA didnt have spares...the race car did 135 mph though if I recall correctly...

ZA, why dont you take a digital pic, download and edit it. That way we all can see it. Easy with todays technology.
