Here I am...
Good day guys.
Nicely done for putting a forum like this together! I have a couple of old cars but recently bought my first American car - a '73 Valiant Charger. It is actually the car I grew up in! Years later we tracked the car back and now have it back in the family. It is still original with 122k km on the clock. Really love the old ship to bits. I live in JHB with my other cars, but my Charger still lives in Cape Town where I try to use it whenever I go there.
It has a few minors to be sorted out, as with any car, but all in good time.

That is so cool you have acquired your childhood car, It must feel like a time machine when you drive around in it.. Is it everything that you remember ? has it brought back memory's that you thought you might have forgotten ?
I love this model, even with the ''Leaning Tower Of Power'' under the hood, this has to be one of my all time favorite cars. FYI this is an Australian car.

Re: Here I am...
Seems it was not based on the Australian version, according to Allpar it was based on a Duster body and Dart front clip, could these be Canadian vehicles. I always thought my 383 was based on the Australian version, how ever on on the Right hand drive specific stuff it has the Chrysler Canada stamped on it. Either way this is still one of my favorite cars and I know of a one owner garaged survivor that I will one day own383CUDA wrote:Welcome!! nice to see new Mopars. BTW.
