Lucky you Paul, Friday was quieter. Yesterday, Saturday, was very, very busy. We took 4 hrs to get there due to traffic, then inside lots of people.

But still a great day, lot to see, I have lots of pics to upload. Watch this space :)

That Thunderbird is simply stunning! Such a classic shape and those rear lights....

Yes guys, Friday is not the best day as all the celebs etc attend the Sat/Sun days but despite the intermittent rain we had a good day and I don't like crowds anyway. Due to work that was the only day I could make. More pics to follow also.

Jacques, that was a very nice example of a Thunderbird and I would have taken more pics if it wasn't tossing down at the time.
By the way, those Cobra's are aluminium bodied replicas.

John, we arrived at 6.45am and drove straight in. We left at 4.00pm to miss the traffic and it was fine till we hit the Friday traffic at Chichester then took 3 hours to drop my friend off in Gosport.
I finally dropped my brother off in Romsey at 8.00pm. Please do add your pics. :D

By the way, how do people post strings of pics on the forum? I can only post 5 at a time which is a pain.

G'day Paul, thanks for posting the pics

Check this thread for posting multiple pics

I didn't get to go down there in the end, thought the weather would have been a big issue as well. I did have tickets offered to me for the Friday by a friend who works for Chevrolet but was busy that day as well.
I had Sunday off and headed up to Duxford for an airshow instead. Some nice horsepower up there as well, including a few Mustangs

Thanks very much J1, I will give it a go tonight when I get home from work. I still have more pics to post.

It's a pity you didn't make it this time around, it did rain a lot, on and off, but I took a rain mac with me so I was ok.

I'm keen to find out if I can get the Perana on the hillclimb at next years event, might drag The Boss with his one too if we are allowed!!

As the Peranas have a racing connection we might get in.

What do you think John? (and don't forget to post your pics :D )

Cheers
