Hi CFL7, glad you were able to make it, it is a great event. I look forward to seeing your pics, you were bound to have seen something I missed.
I too was there all day and didn't get to see it all. So much to take in.

Cheers

Thanks for posting all the photos, some very unique cars there.

I like that racer with the four front wheels - had a matchbox like that.

Didn't know there was one with four back wheels 8O 8O 8O

Must have been a great day - Bar the rain!!

DC, the car with the four front wheels is a Tyrel like the one Jody Sheckter used to race with ELF sponsorship.
I don't know the make of the other car with the four rear wheels as there was nobody there to ask at the time and I hadn't seen one before. All four rear wheels were driven so it must have had amaising grip off the line.

dcc and Paul

re- four wheel rear driven.....

March-Cosworth 761 2-4-0 Built 1976 3litre v8.

Robin Herd thought Tyrell got it wrong with four front wheels, so designed a 'bolt-on' four-wheel drive adaptation for the rear of the 761. It never raced, but Roy Lane applied the transmission to a 771 to win hillclimbs in 1979.

Thanks to the Programme for the info....

Don't blame you either!

I never buy or take programs at events, I like to explore and find things out in person.

Just a personal thing.....
