Let's up the clues a bit:
It looks (tastes, smells, sounds and feels) like a Mustang, but is not a Mustang.
Made by Ford USA, but never sold in the USA, but bought mostly by US citizens.
How can that not be a Mustang? Easy

That is a Ford T5, a variant of the Mustang sold in Germany. The German company Krupp had licensed the Mustang name so Ford couldn't sell them as Mustangs. Hence the Ford badges. Am I correct?
